  • 1 cupall-purpose flour
  • 2large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cupbreadcrumbs (Italian seasoned preferred)
  • 1/2 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 tsponion powder
  • 1 tspdried oregano
  • 1 cupmarinara sauce
  • 1 cupshredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Set up three bowls for dredging: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano.
  2. Dredge and Cook: Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and spray the basket with non-stick spray. Cook the chicken for 10 minutes, flip, and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add Toppings: Top each breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
