Crispy Flatbread with Brie, Cranberries & Walnuts Recipe

Imagine a warm, crispy flatbread topped with creamy Brie cheese, sweet dried cranberries, and crunchy toasted walnuts, all drizzled with a tantalizing hot honey.

  • 2flatbreads or naan (about250 gtotal)
  • 4 oz(115 g) Brie cheese, sliced
  • ¼ cup(30 g) dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup(30 g) toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp(15ml) olive oil
  • 1 tbsp(15ml) hot honey (or honey + pinch of chili flakes)
  • ½ tsp(2 g) fresh thyme leaves
  • Optional: sea salt flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it warmed up for baking. While the oven heats, take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Take your flatbreads or naan and brush a light layer of olive oil on one side of each. Lay the oiled side down flat on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Begin layering your flatbreads with the sliced Brie cheese. Spread the cheese evenly across the surface. Next, sprinkle the dried cranberries and toasted walnuts on top.
  4. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven. Allow the flatbreads to bake for approximately 8–10 minutes.
  5. Once they’re out of the oven, drizzle the hot honey generously over the flatbreads. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top and slice into serving pieces.
