1pound lean ground beef
1/2 cupfinely diced yellow onion
1 tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoongarlic powder
1/2 teaspoononion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
6to8slices American cheese or cheddar
112-pack Hawaiian slider rolls
2 tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoonsesame seeds (optional)
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef along with the finely diced yellow onion. Cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spatula.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Slice the Hawaiian slider rolls horizontally and lay the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns and layer cheese slices on top.
Top with the remaining halves of the rolls, press down gently, and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
Bake covered with foil at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.
Notes
Consider using different types of cheese like pepper jack for added spice.
