Ingredients
- ½ cupsalted butter, softened
- ½ cupwhite granulated sugar
- ¼ cupbrown sugar
- 1 cupcreamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoonreal vanilla extract
- ½ cupall-purpose flour
- 2 cupsquick-cooking oats
- 1 cupM&Ms
- Topping:
- 1¼ cupssemi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cupheavy cream
- ¼ cupmini M&Ms (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla.
- Fold in flour and oats until well combined. Stir in M&Ms.
- Press mixture into a lined 8×8 inch pan.
- For the topping, heat cream until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips to melt. Stir until smooth, spread over the base.
- Sprinkle mini M&Ms on top. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. To make it nut-free, use sunflower seed butter and nut-free chocolate candies.
