A quick and flavorful meal combining tender steak pieces in a savory garlic butter sauce with creamy Parmesan.
Author:Chef Samantha
Ingredients
Scale
1lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp(28 g) butter
5garlic cloves, minced
½ cup(120ml) beef broth
½ cup(120ml) heavy cream
½ cup(50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Begin by generously seasoning the pieces of sirloin steak with salt and pepper, ensuring that every bite will be flavorful.
Next, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter is bubbling, add the seasoned steak bites to the pan. Sear them for about 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally, until they develop a beautiful brown crust.
In the same skillet, introduce the minced garlic and sauté it for about 30 seconds. Then, pour in the beef broth, using a wooden spoon to scrape up any delicious browned bits.
After the broth has simmered for a minute, pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Allow it to simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Return the seared steak bites to the skillet and stir well to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to ensure the steak is heated through.
Once combined and heated through, transfer the finished steak bites to a serving dish and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Notes
For a lighter option, consider substituting the sirloin with chicken or shrimp.
