Ingredients
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped caramel squares
- 1/2 cupchopped pecans
- 1/2 cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 1/4 cupcocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoonsalt
- 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
- 1/2 cupsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cupbrown sugar
- 1/2 cupwhite sugar
- 1large egg
- 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat yourovento 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet withparchment paper.
- In a medium bowl,whisktogether the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, cream the room temperature butter with both sugars using anelectric mixeruntil light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped caramel squares, pecans, and chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to awire rackto cool completely.
